ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS

The CHS Faculty is committed to embedding five academic expectations in our courses, grades 9-12.  Each department has taken primary or secondary responsibility for ensuring that the identified academic expectation is taught, student progress is monitored and assessed, and the expectations for student performance increase each year.

It is understood that teachers routinely assess academic expectations that are not included on this list.  The Carver High School faculty has identified this group of five academic expectations as those that will be targeted by all faculty members for consistent, uniform and specific instruction and assessment over a student’s high school career at Carver High School.
